Our Vision

The Honoring Character® Foundation

The Honoring Character® Foundation (“HCF”) is founded in the social and scientific belief that Character is the greatest factor of our mental and physical health and the greatest definition of us as individuals, families, groups, companies and societies. The heart of The Honoring Character® Foundation is revealed in the mission statement of the organization:

Just as gravity governs our physical world,
so does character govern our social world.
This is why we are Honoring Character®.
This is why we are working in every way we can
to create positive change toward a better society.

The HCF is founded for a dual purpose – to conduct research at a broad scale in order to understand character as well as to promote, develop and honor positive character. The HCF is committed to the research, development and education of positive character.

The HCF is structured in a radial organization. At the center is the board of directors who provide back-of-house formal development and administrative support. Programs and activities are conducted by volunteer committees of participants. As the HCF grows, participants will be encouraged to develop new committees and become leaders of programs that further the mission of the organization.
